Project overview 

Airmeet is a virtual platform for events with a social lounge for networking. Events are the top entity with sessions as sub-entities, but cannot be tied together as a series. A new entity is needed to fulfill this feature.

  • Event duration and agenda vary based on the organizer's persona and use case.

  • Event marketers prefer a series of events spread across weeks.

  • Registrants can register for multiple events in one go. The "Series" binds events together like a garland.

Goals

For Participants :

  • Single registration for all eventsAllow organisers to enable participants to register for multi event series in one go.

  • Block the event calendar only for the duration of the sessions (and not for entire event duration)

For Organisers : 

  • Automating repetitive tasks

  • Improving user engagement

Problem statement

Create an Event series feature that would allow for organisers to conduct multiple events for the attendees under a single registration.

 

This would enable 

  • Attendees to register for multiple events through a single registration 

  • Organisers to conduct multiple events under the banner of a single event series with a common branding, landing page etc.

Pain points Identification

  • Manually creating similar events was time-consuming and error-prone.

  • No easy way to track performance across multiple events.

  • Managing recurring registrations, promotions, and analytics required extra effort.

​- Adoption Rate: % of event organizers using Event Series instead of manual setup.
- Setup Time Reduction: How much time was saved per event creation.
- Engagement Metrics: % of attendees returning for multiple events.
- Drop-off Rate: Identifying when/why organizers abandoned the setup process.
